EMCI was created in 1965. The company first start by manufacturing geophysical cable for oil investigation.  The business has now been diversified and EMCI realise the main part of its turnover in drilling rigs construction.  More than 470 rigs were delivered since 1992 for exploration, geotechnical and environmental applications.

Research and developement

EMCI emphasise on research and development to find out new solutions in order to improve its drilling rigs performances. Each material is designed and studied with software Inventor and Autocad.

Quality control

Each material’s parameters are inspected before delivery. In order to warranty the performance we are equiped with :

• torque meter 0-9000 Nm

• Tachymeter

• Oil hydraulic flow meter

Reactivity EMCI has developped a network of suppliers and partenairs which gives us more flexibility and reactivity.
